Our Story
We we care
Lolalu was created with something in mind. How can we make a difference in the lives of families who are faced with the difficult times ahead? How can we help their voice be heard and get the help that they need? We are on of those families who needed that help. We started out with everyone saying “its ok, he is still a baby, relax because you are FIRST TIME PARENTS.” Fortunately we did not take no for an answer, we knew deep down there was something special about our little one. After fighting for months, doctor after doctor and an extraordinary amount of testing, we found out our little one has an unnamed rare chromosome disorder.
Why it Matters
Every year thousands of newborns come into this world special – about 1:1000 to be exact. These rare chromosome disorders range greatly in terms of ill-health or disabilities that can be apparent at birth to never detected. We want to help those families down the new path life will take them. Lolalu is making a difference by contributing to charities that focus on raising awareness to families and doctors through evolving therapies and research.
